Welcome to T&Cs!

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to any trip or travel planning service booked through Origin Of Self ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a trip or utilizing our services, you (“you,” “your,” or “traveller”) agree that you:

1. Are 18 years of age or older,

2. Have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, and

3. Are entering into a contractual relationship with Origin Of Self.

1. Services Provided

Origin Of Self offers personalized travel planning services, including but not limited to:

• Travel consultation and destination guidance

• Custom itinerary design

• Booking assistance for accommodations, tours, transportation, and activities

• Optional travel support during your trip (as agreed)

We do not act as a travel agency, airline, hotel, or tour operator, and do not issue airline tickets. Our role is that of a travel planning and coordination service.

2. Trip Pricing and What’s Not Included

All trip prices are provided at the time of booking and are exclusive of airfare unless otherwise stated. The following are typically not included in your travel package unless explicitly noted:

• Airfare to/from your trip destination

• Baggage fees, passports, visas, and vaccinations

• Gratuities, tips, and service charges not specified in your itinerary

• Meals and drinks outside of pre-arranged ones

• Optional excursions and personal expenses (laundry, minibar, phone, etc.)

• Travel insurance

• Airport porterage and transport outside itinerary coverage

3. Payments, Deposits, and Late Fees

A deposit is required to confirm your booking. By paying this deposit, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. Once payment is received, confirmation will be sent via email, subject to availability.

Payment Terms:

• All payments must be made by the dates outlined in your invoice or proposal.

• If you fail to make a payment on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and treat the delay as a breach of contract.

• Deposits are non-refundable

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Client Cancellations:

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@ooself.com.

Refunds for services already rendered (planning or booking coordination) are non-refundable. Refunds for third-party vendor bookings are subject to the vendor’s cancellation policies.

Cancellation by Origin Of Self:

We reserve the right to cancel your booking if payment is not received in full by the due date. If we must cancel a trip for any reason, we will offer a credit toward a future booking. We are not liable for costs incurred due to changes, including flights, accommodation, or transportation booked independently.

5. Travel Insurance

You are required to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. This must cover:

• Trip cancellations or interruptions

• Flight delays and missed connections

• Medical expenses, accidents, or injuries during the trip

• Baggage loss, theft, or delay

• Natural disasters, strikes, and other disruptions

Proof of insurance must be submitted to us at least 15 days prior to trip departure. Origin Of Self is not responsible for losses incurred due to your failure to obtain appropriate coverage.

6. Health and Medical Considerations

You represent that you are physically and mentally fit to travel and participate in all activities included in your trip. If unsure, consult your physician prior to booking.

You should:

• Disclose any relevant medical conditions

• Carry necessary medications and documentation

• Cease participation in any activity if you experience discomfort or danger

Origin Of Self may request documentation confirming your fitness to travel and reserves the right to decline services based on health-related safety concerns.

7. Air Travel Arrangements

All air travel must be arranged independently by the traveller. Origin Of Self does not book or manage flights and assumes no responsibility for:

• Missed flights or connections

• Flight delays, reschedules, or cancellations

• Expenses resulting from missed departures

You are responsible for ensuring your flight schedule aligns with the trip start time/date. Travel insurance should be in place to cover these risks.

8. Passports, Visas, and Entry Requirements

You are responsible for securing:

• A valid passport (with at least 6 months of validity from the return date)

• All required visas and entry documentation

• Compliance with the destination country's health and vaccination requirements

Origin Of Self will not be liable for denied entry or associated losses due to documentation issues.

9. Waiver of Liability and Release

By participating in a trip arranged through Origin Of Self, you agree to the following release:

You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks and liabilities that may arise from your participation in the trip, including illness, injury, loss, or death. You agree to release and hold harmless Origin Of Self and its employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from any claims, actions, damages, or expenses arising from your trip, regardless of fault or cause, including negligence.

You agree not to pursue legal action against Origin Of Self for any damages or losses that occur during or in connection with your travel. Your travel insurance is your primary means of recovery for any such events.

10. Third-Party Vendors

We may recommend or book services provided by third parties. While we select partners carefully, we do not control their operations and cannot guarantee their services. You agree not to hold Origin Of Self liable for the actions or omissions of any third-party vendors.

11. Privacy and Data Use

By using our services, you consent to our use of your personal information for trip planning and coordination. This may include sharing information with third-party service providers solely for the purpose of delivering your travel services. Your data will not be sold or shared beyond what is necessary to fulfill your itinerary.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website or sent to clients directly. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
